ep3 head swap question...

If I put a type s k20a2 head on a k20a3 si block do I need to use the type s ECu also to run the new head?

Uh, there is a complete write up on ephatch.com. Better find it before the site goes down for awhile for revamping. Myeverlovinsir or something like that did the writeup.

In a short answer, yes or you could just flash the a3 ecu with Hondata's a2 program. You can run the car with the a3 maps temporarily. That's what myeverlovinsir did.
