I wanted to know is this very possible and what needs to be done, all info is good,

do what i did to my ls vtec just replace my ctr cams with some skunk2 stage 2's or jun 3's and you should have 200 whp

 

turbo

 

just by putting in those cams and changing the valvetrain it should be a 200whp???

tried that already thanks

 

-Some very good headwork (the works from a reputable shop).
-Aggressive Cams (Skunk2, Toda, Jun, etc)
-Valvetrain (that can handle the high revving...skunk2, etc)
-Cam Gears (Toda, Skunk2, etc, maximize those cams)
-Header (don't go cheap, get high quality and performance)
-Hi flow cat (2.5")
-Full catback exhaust (2.5")
-Hondata or VAFC
-Final Drive, LSD, Clutch, Flywheel package is always nice, not needed though.


there are various different types of ways of accomplishing 200whp. I got 190whp off ITR cams with my all motor setup. I decided to sell it all and go turbo.

 

he has a gsr guys and he's going for all motor. you will prob need a new intake manifold, fpr, possibly bigger injectors, some sort of management/chipped ecu, cams, camgears, upgraded valvetrain, a good exhaust setup, dyno tuning. bumping the compression would be a good idea too but 200whp can be done w/o it.

does anyone else doubt this?

anyway, go with ctr pistons and stage3 cams, hondata with good tuning, and you should just about be there

http://www.importreview.com has some great dyno graphs on there... Here is one that shows how much potential you got just by sleeving/boring... Type R cams + 84mm bore = Woah!

 

say if i get a b16 head p&p and do the valvetrain with skunk2 stage 2's will i need to get high compression pistons??

 

Might I ask what are you trying to accomplish by hitting 200 whp? Could you not achieve the same or better results with 180 whp, good gearing, and weight reduction?

Man.. that motor, on the dyno.. that would throw you back in your seat, jeez..

 

216 is impressive, but it won't throw you back that hard
