Oh really? I would never have thought.

I wanted to know because my friends have had port & polishs done to their B-series in the past. The gains were very noticable and actually made Vtec louder once engaged. I would recommend it if you have the $ and can afford to be without your vehicle for a couple days.

Yes, you have an F-series engine. An F22B2 to be exact. It should be printed on the block to the left of the exhaust manifold.

All motor? I'd like to know who the hell you're talking about too...

You might be thinking of Bisi maybe? F in a CRX...Fastest All motor Honda...

or Kentucky Accord? 13.9 All motor F22... As far as I knew he is the fastest N/A F22 Accord in the country...

i would recommend gude performance. they did the complete top end of my 99. port polish the head and intake manifold, line bore the throttle body and 3 angle valve job, plus regrind your cam for like $1500. they claim 55hp and i believe it. before that work i ran a 16.5 in the 1/4 and after that and a 50shot of nitrous i am running 14.5s with full stock exhaust.

Don't lose hope, you'll just have to search more and spend more than anyone with a B, D, or H series engine.

I have GUDE package also...but be ready to spend 1650 for a package+500-750 on tuning, another 350 on fuel pump and labor and then there is labor to install the package(500 in my case)and an option to replace your stock seals, valves, gaskets, timing chain(may as well) add another 200-300...for a grand total of...$3200-3550... and the REALL hp gains are like 40 hp at the wheels.I mean I think I'm happy, but then I could have went turbo,or swap for the same money...

500-750 on tuning... are you kidding me, might as well just get bent over.

you dont need to upgrade the fuel pump (and if you did a walbro can be had for 90 bucks).

I would never spend near/ over 3k on a gude package head... which is not anything special by the industry standards.

sorry not trying to tear down your opinion, but I had to add my 2 cents... n/a power is great but not that great.

yep 350 for greddy emanage, 150 dyno, 100+install and tune(that ranges),pump is 120 plus labor, cost me 150...and you do need a fuel pump, unless you are SURE you'll NEVER happen to run lean under any conditions, i wouldnt trust 3000 investment to a stock fuel pump, would you?...AND Yes i WOULD DEFINITELY PREFER TURBO...WHO ARE WE KIDDING, but throw on 50-75 shot and you run low 14s high 13 all-day.

BTW my original post was intended to show people that for ALL this money i only got 40 hp increase and would have a lot more if went turbo...

i have been running my gude package for 2yrs while running 50-75 shot of nitrous through it and still have the stock fuel pump. i never thought of all those other prices because i did all the work myself. i would still rather have the head work done instead of turbo because of reliability and also everybody thinks its just a slow stock accord

I agree...All-motor is always more reliable then FI, although NOS is nice, I'm scared that adding more hp on top of gude's **** is not going to go well with my automatic transmission. ...unless I'm mistaken, honda's auto transmissions are pretty weak

BTW you're pretty lucky you can do this kind of work yourself...I have to trust other people to do the major work, I just do simple ****, like intake...exhaust...system...etc...
