Default how much is a good drop with donut tires on ITR

just your own opinions...

im planning to drop my car and ive sorta got a budget of like 500. im planning on just riding on my stock shocks ands struts. im probably just going to buy some springs for the ride..

do you think that what i've got planned is a cool idea? how low of a drop should i put so it looks just ok, rather than ridiculiously low? and what brands can u suggest?

best to go with shocks and springs....otherwise you'll be bottoming out quite often.

If your driving on 4 donut tires I say take your budget of $500 and go buy some rims and tires.

Is that Krispy Kreme or (for the Cannucks in the audience) Tim Hortons? Krispy Kreme are softer so you may have to account for that.

I believe he's referring to hostess. Careful though doing this will attract a lot of attention from police...a hungry cop is not a nice person to deal with.

If it were me, I'd go try and find a set of used coilovers. ground control with some yellows.

However, if it were me also. I would avoid putting lame wheels on a type r too.

if you rolled on 4 donuts you would be a ******* madman.

what would be even madder is if you tried going ~120 mph on those things.

you, meet Darwin.

you can go 120 on 4 donuts
its just that if you have 1 donut, and 3 steelies or something, you shouldnt go over '45' or something, tests show you can actually drive 65mph on 3 steelies and 1 donut, but anything above 70 is getting kinda dangerous.

sorry but I doubt that a donut tire is rated for anything much higher than 50mph, before it gets too hot.

i lowered mine 2.5 inches on stock rims it was not to low. i bought new tenzo springs for 50 bucks, if it wast for the price i wouldnt have gotten tenzos, but i was really happy with them they rode really nice. now i have 17s on it and its the perfect height.
