hey all, will the stock eg coupe exhaust fit properly on the eg hatchback correctly and not be too long???????

 

I dont know about eg coupe exaust on a hatch...but I put '00 SI coupe exaust on my 92 cx. The mid-section was a direct bolt on, while the muffler was about 3 to 4 inches too long. Then I just bought a cheap *** DNX axle back for a eg, it bolted and hung perfect on the '00 SI mid-section. Sounded decent with the increased dia too! Hope this help bro

 

92-00 Sedans and Coupe exhausts are compatible, hatchback rear sections are shorter

 

haha ,..... i have the stock axle back of a 2000 si on it right now ... stick outs like 9 inches!!!1 lol .... very funny looking ..... and it doesnt hang to well ...... so im trying to get a stock full eg exhaust back on there

 

so then i do need the rear section from a hatchback??????

ive got a full stock exhaust off my 93 si with the nice little stock chrome tip. looks real good, kinda wish it was still on the car... im in ny, if you need it we can work something out. thanks

 

hey let me get this straight, the cat back piping up to the axle back muffler for a 92-00 civic coupe. sedan and HATCH are are the same?

please say it is so, im looking for one!

 

Only the Sedan and the Coupe are compatible as BauleyCivic stated previously. The HB is a tad bt different.

I have the exhaust from a sedan and it fits perfectly on my coupe

 

I have a complete exhaust system from a 2000 si on my 92 hatch with gsr swap. All i had to do was cut the exhaust tip down and took the catyletic to the shop to have one of the holes plugged and tip extended. It works great.
