I knew oem louvers existed for 2nd gen crxs, but I have never seen them. Today someone comes up to me in school and asks me if I want to buy some. How rare are they? Anyone have them, or have pics of a 2nd gen w/ louvers?

I dont really want louvers on my car, but figure i could sell them on ebay or something and make a few bills, depending on how hard they are to find. What do you think?

 

Vary hard to find.
The 89 Si I bought the wife came with them, I put them on ebay and made a good chunk of change.

Them black metal vent lookin things you see on the back of cheeseball late 80's camero's.

 

I have seen those too! Very common on 80's celicas. I didn't know those come oem on crxs...

 

Yeah, I think that it is a pretty rare thing. If you could get them for a good price, you could probably resale them for way more.

These are very rare! I wouldn't sport them, but I would surely buy them off of someone to sell for boo-ko bucks! You need to buy them dude. I would offer him $10.00 and work my way up from there if he didn't want to sell for so cheap. Make sure you get the mounting brackets that stick to the hatch glass.

 

i had em on my 1st gen only in the summer (really cuts down on the heat inside the car)...made my car look so ghetto white trash though...but hell they are kind cool...if I had em for a 2nd gen I'd sport em aswell

Hey how far away are you from Philly I recently took off the louvers that came off my CRX and gave them to the parts guy for his nevue or something. They were ******* ugly.

 

Well he said $15 so I am saying what the hell. Not much to lose. Im in montgomery county... I think the kid selling them goes to MontoCo or some trade school. Maybe coming soon to a h-t classifieds (or ebay) near you
