Racing seats ~
Coudlnt really find an appropriate place to put this post -
Bu what do you guys use for seats that are aftermarket ?
ITR arent really in my budget and I think they are overpriced for what they are.
I was lookin for some nice seats and I have heard abouto tenzo-r being great for like only 6 months then starting to show alot of wear and fading.
I was curious what you guys have heard about DAD ? they have been around for a while and a few people told me only good experiences, they seem nice for the price - below 500 for a pair. Just anthing over 600+ is too much for me.
Also show pics what you guys have ... afterall its appearance thread

DAD seats suck. They break and the material licks ***. I had a pair, one of the seats squeeked and then eventually broke, it reclined back, and the sidebolster fell apart.
If you can't afford recaro, get corbeau or sparco.

They are only around $220 brand new and used about $150-$200, the support and bolster is excellent, and they are very comfortable.</TD></TR></TABLE>
even for daily driver ? i was thinking more of reclinables or a relaxed fixed position, those look pretty upright
EDIT = im a big guy, 38" waist 5'10, not huge, but i dont think ill fit in that

Yeah me too, I'm about 6'1" and waist is a 34, but these things fit me like a glove, its a perfect fit
. At first I was thinking it would be hard to get in and out of the car, but its really not, you just gotta get used to it. Only drawback is these sit LOW.... like you gotta sit up as much as you can.

good luck fitting into JDM seat then
I'd go with the Eco 2 if you want a rigid back fiberglass seat. It's made for the "bigger" people in the 32" plus waist category. I'm 6'1 210 lbs....and the seat fits me perfectly,. When I race, I remove the but padding for better feel though
The Sprint is a steel fram seat, and won't be AS comfy as a fiberglass seat, but they are definately race buckets.

i got the sprints over the evo's simply because they were less expensive. i will want to upgrade at least the driver seat to an evo later though.
<--------- my skinny *** fits snuggly in the regular evo. lol.

yeah the sprint is surprisingly comfortable for a fixed positition seat...i used mine for about 2 weeks before i sold my civic and it hugged my little *** snugly...as stated, the drawback is it sat low but i used a cushion to raise me up
I've been using Sprints for 6 years now. I plan on upgrading to a seat in the near future to one that has a harness slot on the bottom for a 5th/6th point for my 6pt harnesses. For now, I'm cutting a slot through my Sprints to fit the 5th/6th point through the seat.
