Default Smoke at WOT

Well, i have a 89 DX wit a ZC swap and i love it ;]

But im havin some problems and the car is slow as a civic ex :[

at WOT im getting smoke. Looks blue/white, i suspect rings. I recent tuned my fuel managment and im running at perfect fuel pressure. I can take the car slowly to 5 or 6 k with no smoke, but if im at WOT then i get smoke.. I know its not burning coolant, because I was suspicious of that already and replaced the head gasket. Still havin the same problem.

Sound like rings to anyone else?

yes, I searched.

If so, can anyone recommend a good rod/piston combination for the zc..

I was thinkin low com Aries with some crower rods.

Could be the rings. Have you tried doing a comp. check?

.05? what is honda gap I just did a tune-up like a month ago, and If I remember right it was more around .3 or was it .03 I dont remember, I know its a pretty big range though......im just curious.

I would think its prob. your valvetrain......like valve seals and such its opening alot faster and opening more at wot......just a thought.
