Default anybody that has a type s ever driven a dc2 r

ok so iv got a a screamin steal me yellow integra type r, im gettin tired of being scared , and dont like the attention it attracts so im selling it, and one of the top cars im looking to get is an rsx type s, now my question is , is the rsx type s as nimble as the type r, stock or modified, id be doin alot of suspension mods and quite a few engine mods, id just like to know if it will be nimble and tossable like the itr, i love the way my type r handles and i dont want to buy a rsx if it feels like a tank

The RSX is no tank. I own a dc5 but have driven many dc2rs. I can say they drive alike but the RSX is no slouch. The RSX has very precise steering and a very stiff chassis that likes it when you lift off the gas while coming in a corner hard.

I currently have both cars and I can say the stock for stock, the RSX is a ways off the Type R in terms of handling. I would not describe it as a tank, but you can feel the extra weight. Turn in is not as sharp and it tends to understeer more at the limit. A better set of dampers and a different set of sway bars will help though. I believe given enough time you can make it handle very well... but as nible as the Type R... Not sure. The RSX just has a different feel to it.

Power wise, I believe the RSX can be modded to achieve high power levels. As it sits stock, you can feel the extra torque. Great for the street.

If you're looking for a well handling street car, the RSX could be a good replacement, but if you want it for the track you may be disappointed. I bought the RSX for the street and I'm happy with the performance.
