Brake Swap
I was wondering if anyone knows how to do the caliper switch for the 96 accord to the legend or nsx calipers, so i need to switch rotors or what is needed. I need all the details or somewhere that has the directions in an elaborate form!

that's a link to all the parts, but i'll go ahead and explain it all...
you will need the following parts:
- 1995 legend gs sedan callipers or any nsx calliper(the two piston calliper is how you know, not the big single piston)
- one of the following calliper brackets and bolts:
28t (came on the accord v6)
23t (came on any prelude vtec)
- brake pads for the legend gs sedan (i chose axxis ultimates and got them from cobalt friction. this is a great pad, the only problem is it dusts quite a bit, and that's not really even a big problem)
- finally, you need the rotors from a 95-97 accord v6 (they are 11.2" in size)...
that's all you need, get those parts, go through the same process you would to change out the rotors and pads (remove the calliper and rotor)...put on the accord v6 rotors first obviously...then you have two choices...
choice a.) put the right calliper on the left and the left calliper on the right (because the bleeder screw will be upsidedown if you don't)
choice b.) connect the brake lines with the callipers off the car and turned upsidedown and bleed them before you mount them. This is the optimal choice since the pistons are two different sizes and are more efficient mounted correctly.
that's pretty much it...if you have any questions just im me about it...it's really not that big of a deal, it's just replacing the original parts with the parts from the legend and accord v6...

That applies to the front brakes only correct?
What do you think total cost for parts would be, using some reman's from Autozone? And also how much to press the brakes off the hubs
