92 civic dx hatch. 209k on the odometer, runs ok, and has a fairly big dent on the door, sort of like when you open the door up on a cement pole beside the gas pumps. Thinking of getting something other than the teg to do a swap in. He wants 2500 for this car, sorry as I have no pics.

 

Forgot to metion the interior is ok, no rips or cigarette burns, just needs to be cleaned REAL good.

 

I was just thinking of that amount, especially with the dent.

about 1700-2000, 209,000 is not a little bit of miles, despite the fact that a motor swap is probably in the near future for you.

 

Thanks for the replies, I am going to probably lowball him first and see where it goes from there, 1500 will be the starting point for me upon my next visit.

 

Don't let the motorswap **** fool you. The entire car has gone through 209K, not just the engine. There is lots of wear and tear.

I dunno man... With 209k miles, i would only pay $1,500 at the most... I bought a CRX the other day for only $400... But the body is in bad shape from the two front doors and up... Not that badly damaged tho... Only have 137k miles too... Motor is still strong, a/c works, sunroof works(has rust tho)...

 

im paying about 2500 i think for a eg hatch with over 200k miles on it.. it's in good condition, who knows whats the suspensions likes, but we are in california so i don't worry about the h2o getting too rusty on the bolts. oh yeah im getting a b16a swap in like a month, thats why im getting the car.

$2500 is way too much man. I would offer the $1500, and if he will not take less than $1800 I would tell him forget it. That car is not worth over $1800.
