Default is 18's too big or will it cause any damage overtime for my 99 accord

hey guys im getting 18's. just wanna know for sure if there will be any damage to my car because of the huge size compared to stock (15inch).

Not at all..if you lower it too much you might rub but you aren't going to hurt the car...

just remember what plus sizing is all about--you are increasing the size of the wheel and essentially deceasing the heighth of the tire. you should remain relatively close to the same diameter of your stock set-up, but with a lower profile tire.

this is in addition to what bagged93 stated as well

i had 18's on my 94 and lowered it 2.5" and it still didn't rub. you will be more than ok

18's are too small...go 19's with 225/35/19 tires.

You should be alright with 18's without rubbing but make sure you get an alignment after you lower it.

huh?... I think 19's would be way too big for daily driving

Depends on where you live and how the roads are. I've been on 19's for 4 years on my 95 accord but I live in FL where the weather is nice and the roads are decent. You shouldn't rub on 19's unless you are lowered like 4 inches.

I got chromes 18's on my 98 Accord sedan, and I love them. I'm about to lower the car a decent 1.5". I say go with em'. I'm not gonna say anything bout' 19's except, watch out for potholes and all that. Good luck.
