How many miles/months did you get out of your ITR battery before it died? did a search...blah...blah...blah.

I don't want to get stranded out of town or waste money on a track event due to a dead battery. Thanks

 

mine is still going strong at 3 years and 3 months...only 29K miles though

that's pretty good for a battery in humid South Florida though...probably have to change it out soon

 

I'm at 40K and still going... but the sight glass is saying it's discharged (shrug).

 

Funny you should ask, I replaced mine today. '97 56k Had to bring a portable power pack with me around town yesterday . I'm going to a track event tommarow (or today) morning so I don't have time to get a nice one. I seen from time to time Battery X in someone's list of mods.

Are there some brands with quality, lightweight batteries?

 

Mine died at around 60k miles after almost 6 years of use. BTW, mine's is a GS-R, but it's still the same Yamaha battery.

 

My battery said Panasonic on it.

 

My battery said "+" and "-" on it.

 

MIne lasted a year and then died. **** happens.

 

I left mine on the charger overnight, and when I came out it was still dead, but making this wikkid bubbling noise. I thought it was going to blow
