custom 2.5" exhaust for a 1st mod:::: Overkill???

Was wondering if a custom 2.5"N1 exhaust setup will be to big for a 98 gsr as for a 1st mod? Whatchall think better to do 2.25 or 2.5 for the future?

You have 3 cars listed in your sig. Which car is it for and what's the current setup and what's the future plan?

It's for a customer and his car is a 98GSR bone stock.

its gonna be a mild all motor setup later in the future. but for now its going to be the only mod. any more thoughts or suggestions? anybody? 2.25 or 2.5?
