Default The "Preferred" Spring

I've crumbled under the pressure and I've decided the H&R OE Sports aren't aggressive enough springs for me. Now I need some help/advice on the replacement springs. I'm looking to lower between 1 to 2 inches (preferably somewhere in between around 1.5"). Can anyone throw in their preference for spring that they had or currently use? I'm looking at the HKS Super Form and H&R Sport. I want some high quality springs that ride well with few complications (such as squeeking or being too bouncy). Let me know your opinion. Thanks.

Go to this website and check out the selections.

I'd personally go for the Tein lowering springs and adjustable shocks. It's sold as a package. I would've gotten these instead of my H&R's if I caught this website earlier.

Good luck.

Tein's are awesome as hell but for some are too expensive. I personally have Neuspeed race springs and like them a lot. Neuspeed springs used t be mae by H&R but are not any more. They lower the car 2" and it looks really nice. And I am very pleased at their performance.

I second Neuspeed Race springs...I am currently running a set and I switched from H&R race springs. For some reason, the H&R's gave a slightly uneven gap, the front was a little higher than the back. As far as springs being "bouncy" you have to get a set of preformance shocks that have high enough dampening rates to compliment the stiffer lowering spring. Teil coilovers are a great set-up, but pricey. I am personally enjoying my Neuspeed Race with Koni Sport set-up, the car handles really well (along with ST sways, upper strut bars bushings etc...)

Yea, you really do need a good shokc to compliment them. I use Tokico Illuminas which are 5-way adjustable.

well i've got Bilstein HD's mated with the OE Sports right now and the ride is excellent. I'm not sure that the HD's have enough dampening for a Neuspeed or H&R race spring. I'm lost...if anyone can give me some insight on the HKS springs, I'd appreciate it. I've lost some faith in neuspeed, eibach, and H&R. Anyhow...more input! more input! Thanks.

I have Eibach Pro-kits and KYB AGXs on my Teg and love that combo.

I have Ground Controls which use Eibach springs and Koni Yellows on my Civic and really love that combo (for a "primarily race" car).

For a daily driver and wanting some performance I would go with the Eibachs and Pro-kits...

Japanese is best....if you can still find a set of RS*Rs, they are amazing.
