Default Help with my car......

Before you read this whole thing please dont just Guess at what the problem may be....Dont take this post off topic and please read the WHOLE thing before replying.......

Car is equipped with a STOCK B18A and PR4 ecu and it ran FINE for the year that Ive owned it....

I hadnt changed anything on the car until it started getting me problems......

1st Occurence.... Driving along regularly the engine just stops.....CEL is on but no code, i dont turn the key to the off position before trying to restart..... i smell gas so I know its getting gas.....i keep trying to restart it but eventually the motor is hydrolocked and wont even turn over...... i take the key out and pop the hood I see gas spewing on the ground......comming outta the intake.... so i shut it off call up AAA and have it towed home to inspect WTF happened...

Get the plugs out and theyre soaked in gas.....so i figure the cylinders must be flooded with gas......I turn over the engine with no plugs and gas is flyin everywhere outta the cylinders....once i get it all out i start it back up..... it runs fine.....i think it must have been a fluke or something......

Occurence 2

2 weeks later same thing happens..... but.......i take the key outta the ignition before it gets completely flooded.... its flooded but not that bad im able to turn it over til it starts......

Many Occurences later..... I learned that If i just turn the car off right when it happens and restart it , the engine will fire back up almost instantly.....

Between the stuff that happened above ive gotten a Code 43(fuel supply system) and a code 3(map sensor), I currently do NOT have any codes showing

Ive replaced(in this order) ECU, FPR, Main Relay, MAP Sensor....

and im still getting this problem.....

I have noticed that it likes to do it more when im lower on gas 2-5 gallons...

It usually happens once or twice on every tank of gas....

Whenever it happens now there is a clicking sound under the dash.....i dont know what it is.....its just a really fast clicking sound......

Any Help would be very much appreciated

One question.

The parts you replaced were all new? If not, which ones were used?

To the best f my knowledge, and please correct me anyone if I am wrong, but the clicking under the dash sounds liek your main relay. I know that you just said you replaced it, but maybe it is possible that the ecu is causing it to fail on you, or possibly that you are frying your relay somehow.

it would seem to me that this is, or may be an ecu issue because majoritively, the ecu controls the amount of fuel, and what not released into the motor. If you are gettin too much fuel and its flooding the motor, possiblly the fuel map is off on your ecu. HTH

i had this same exact problem with my b16a, the number two injector was sticking on flooding the cylinder with gas except mine did it all the time my problem was the ecu. make sure the ecu is good for sure. when your gas fills up with gas like that make sure you drain the oil everytime and even take the spark plug out and put a little cap fill of motor oil in it to try to move that gas out

ya ya ya You said not to guess... well thats all we can really do. no1 can go "This is the problem" besides.. anything that I first thought of you already tried.

I would do a nice full tune-up. replace cap/rotor, coil (could be the problem), plugs (fouled?) wires, air/fuel filter. all that should be $80-100 tops and can't hurt to change anyways
