I'd say go for it. The bigger the rims, the more rotational mass you'll have. Hurting acceleration a bit but the good thing about having bigger rims is that it'll handle a bit better.

You will not handle better .....bigger is not always better ....

I would 16's are a good size for the street ...
Not to big ....and enough tire so you wont have to worry about every single pot hole ...

it would if the rims were 15x6.5 compared to 16x7, but when its 15x7, it has the width, smaller rotational mass, and plus 15 is as small as you can get with a big brake upgrade.

Ultimate JDM master Gr8GrZ said that because it is THE JDM thing to do. JDM Gr8GrZ says that if you put 15" wheels on your EP, it is the TRUE JDM FUNCTION. So all your JDM ****** out there, listen to this JDM master and put on these JDM wheels that have the JDM function. JDM POWA.
But honestly, I think those weds would look pretty cool on a white EP. They just have to be a little lower than the normal lowered EPs, but not necessarily "slammed."

its "form follows function"....
15" wheels are lighter, less rotational weight,....but less tire width unless you get a 15by 7.5's those would be pretty darn sticky....but small wheels/tire sizes hurt your top end acceleration...thus they are good for "out of the hole" driving, as in backroads, small tight tracks/courses etc....
I agree with anything 17" or up on an FWD import compact car.....its just for show...thats why i got rid of my 17" motegis as seen in my imagestation below...
I now run 15" BBS meshes....i could tell a HUGE difference in holeshot acceleration, and cornering ability, the steering feels ALOT lighter and more flexible than when i had the 17's
I am staying with 15's and 16's.....by the way, my next wheels are going to be the ROTA GT3 wheels in red...they are GAB look alikes heeheheheh

they are 16*7's and only 159 a piece from modacar!!!
