100K VTEC model Lude
What's up guys? Just wanted your opinions about whether or not you think it is safe to boost on an H22 with 100 K on it. I'm probably going turbo, havn't decided. Wanted some feedback from the Prelude enthusiasts before I proceeding. Thanks a lot.
Get a leakdown and compression test. Nobody will be able to answer this kind of question with no numbers.
If your motor has not been abused, it is just getting into its prime.
good luck.

thats the key right there, if those are 100k of hard miles, it would b e a shame to boost to soon on a nice h22a1 (mmmm h22a1.. anyway sorry), it would be a shame to detroy a perfectly good motor jsut becasue you throw altittle too much boost at it, and its tired, i think even if you leak down and compression test numbers come out good, i wouldn't boost a 100k motor
