Connection from header to testpipe?

Connection from header to testpipe?

I have a Mugen header and I just got my SMSP testpipe in the mail and I was matching it up to my header to see if it fit properly and it does, but the two holes on the sides where you put the bolts in, don't line up. On the testpipe, it is wider. What should I do?

JDM Mugen header or USDM Mugen header? And did you order the correct one from SMSP?

Gonna assume that you got a USDM Mugen header and purchased a JDM sized test pipe.

Correct. I was pretty dumb on that one.

But the Mugen header came with a lead kind of donut that makes the testpipe fit correctly but just not the holes.Can I drill new holes next to the existing. I think that will work but I want to know what you guys and girls would recommend.
