Drag radials for street use? who makes them? price?
Hi,
Does anyone run drag radials as there regular street tire? In Cali it rarely rains so it wouldnt be a problem and I could always switch back if heavy rain was expected.
Whats the best drag radial for the ITR (FWD). I've always used Nitto on my RWD Mustangs, anyone make a 15" drag radial for the stock tires? How much? Best place to order?

I never had good experience with my BFG drag radials. I would launch at 3K RPM in my GSR and still spin them out
even at the track, they didn't stick well...what am I doing wrong? or does my N/A car make way too much power? lol

Cheapest place?
How much would speedo be off?

The BFG's have set some of the best 60 foot records for all drag radials, the secret is heating them up, I am talking a long boring smokey burnout. This and the right tire pressure will make them stick good. The new BFG G-force Drag radial is amazing, my friends can pull off 1.9 60 foot times. They make both the old and the new BFG 205/50/15

Would the drag radials not be the best idea on the street due to the crumple wall? I know BFG has a wall that is built to crumple on launch to help with traction, not sure on NITTO. But would something like that not make handling a little troublesome. On the rear of a Mustang I could see it, but on the front, where you control the direction of the car... Not sure it would be the best idea.
As for life, they have lasted, so far, over 100 runs for me on the strip.

I drive on my BFG drag radials all the time, I did so last night, they dont handle too bad, a little shimmy here and there and thats about it.
