NEW DRIVER WITH TOUGH Q'S...HELP
I was wondering, is it possible to put a b.o.v. on a crx, and if it is, whats a good brand 2 use. also, is it a good idea to put a turbo in a crx. also, how much would a trnamission change cost? finally how many miles does it take before a crx begins to give u problems...mins has 125k. thanks
dude you have too many vague questions. try to be more specific like what tranny did you want to put in? stock. do you have a Si model?
I think you would need to have turbo before you get a blow off valve. And 125k for a 13-16 year old car is pretty good!
But, where the hell is the hammer smiley?!

do a compression check on your motor first to see if its still in good shape before u put a turbo on it and blow it up. 125k might be too many miles to start boosting on it it isnt feeling up to par

Yeah.... anything's possible with money. My CRX has 162k, I bought it with 132k. Runs the same as the day I got it. Maybe even better!
Seriously though, why you want a turbo and a BOV for? and yes, BOVs are for turboed cars only. I suppose you can hook up a solonoid controled valve to a compressed air tank and hook up a BOV to it and have it be activated by a switch near your accelerator pedal. But that just doesn't seem all to reasonable....
