painted seats??
i have yellow racing seats by ractive and want black seats...i saw this uphostery "Color" that is like spray piant for fabric....will this actually work or will it look like ****....any info at all??
I used it on my Si seats. They were in perfect condition but were sun faded like crazy. I just masked off the center gray area of the seat and sprayed away!(outside of the car ofcourse) They came out sweet! The fabric was a little stiff at first but I just used a shoe brush once they dried to soften them back up. It's been about 4 months and there is no sign of fading and they still look like new.
And I'm not sure about booga but I'm speaking from experience. I wouldn't hesitate to do it again

try to cover yellow with that black spray **** its gona run and look like **** when the yellow bleeds and then the fabric is going to be hard as hell and your going to ruin your nice seats your better off not doing it, sure you can touch up a stock seat thats already gray or black or whatever cuase it blends in with it but when you try to totaly cover up something that **** will bleed like a mother f&#*r esp yellow. i Know from exp. cause my first car was a *gulp* a POS saab with a maroon interior and i did the carpet and the seats and it bled and made everything stiff. Hey man do what you want its your car
good luck

It probably bled because you held the spray can 1/4 inch from the fabric and sprayed away. LOL
If you do decide to "dye/spray" your seats a different color. Do it in stages. Spray a light coat on there and let it dry. Hold the can at least 6 inches away from the fabric. Spray another coat and let dry. Keep doing this process until you are satisfied.
