Don't need a tow rig for anything but the few times I have ever needed anything towed my father handled it.
His old tow rig:

Can't find a pic of the new one, picture the above truck but 2003 body style and 4 door.

Chevy over ford any day!!! GM is the only domestic company i will ever buy from!
Yeah i am sure plenty of people will dislike my trailblazer but it suprisingly towed my boys integra filled with crap without a problem on about a 250mile drive! Hate it if you will, many people on here probably will, mostly because the wheels are chrome and whatnot. but they will be painted black chrome this summer if i hang onto the SUV
Not really a tow pig but more of my daily driver. I have used it to tow a car so i figure it may be worthy

Ford Explorer towing anything or being driven by anyone but a 70 year old lady = transmission problems.

The new one is bigger. 4 door owns all. Went over to my parents last night (next door) and it was hooked to the 22k poind fifth wheel flatbed and it reminded me of just how powerful it is. Trailer is a tandem dually setup with dovetal and is just mean looking. The new truck is rated at 600 lb ft or so also with a 6 speed. According to my dad he says he can pull a load up any hill in the fast lane with no problems passing people.
