Does this thread work to reset the airbags so i can start a car that was in an accident and both airbags shot out.

The car is only 100$ but it needs a new radiator, 2 fenders, bumper, hood, and windsheild, then a steering wheel and dash where the airbag exploded.

I'm doing a jdm b16a sir2 swap anyway, so the engine doesnt really matter. What should i check for and is it worth it?

you will probably need an srs computer one that has not seen deployed airbags. then reset it

 

amd will have to reset the clock spring in the steering wheel airbag... I would only repair a car like this if I could get the car cheap as **** and could repair it myself. I know my local junkyard sells airbags and its computers pretty cheap but they don't get my good cars.

 

Must get a new SRS control unit, or you will have a permanent SRS light.

 

Yea it seems a little too much. It would be great if the airbags hadnt blown, oh well.
