i want to buy a exhaust for my car..
i want to buy a exhaust for my car..i been searching in ebay and found a few i'm interested in buying.but i can't make up my mind...is it cheaper on ebay?? i found a obx 4.5 in tip stainless steal for 75 bucks including shipping or a few another brands for about 45-60 bucks..does anyone know the going price for installing a muffler.should i install a high flow converter?should i wait and install a cat back?i dunno..i just want a nice sound..Help!!
Ebay doesn't have to be "out" just try and weed out the rice and shitty brands. You will find some good stuff but sometimes have to look hard. For example I found my eibach sportlines for a bill shipped (normally 250 new). Search on ebay and if you don't see it, be patient. You can also check out h-t's classified or the accord classifieds at the top of the thread. http://www.modacar.com and http://www.autodynamic.com and I am sure there are tons others but that should get ya started

i bought a thermal R&D classic exhaust, new, for 465 shipped. now that was a STEAL! has a really deep tone and the butt dyno agrees that this thing adds power. and it doesnt drone on the highway or anything. BEST exhaust for the accord IMO... but remember, its just my opinion...

Ebay doesnt have to be out. I picked up my Apex-i RS Catback for $300 shipped. As said above, just be patient and you will find a steal. And if you do buy from ebay, make sure you read the ENTIRE auction, because alot of jackass sellers will try to sell knock off crap as the real deal and only have one little line in the middle of the auction saying it is not the real thing. Buyer Beware, I guess.

IMO, the headers arent worth the money. I got my DC headers for $125 shipped on Ebay. A good Cat-back and Intake will do you alot more good than a header ever will. The SOHC motors breathe just fine throungh the stock cast-iron manifold. nly real reason to get a good header is to save a little weight up front and to make it look prettier. There is next to no horsepower gained from production-line header systems.

I had a Greddy SP for about 5 years on my 95 accord. Loved it, quiet when driving and deep when you punch it. Also loved how it looked...one of the few mufflers that you can see from a mile away because it was stainless and reflected back. But I got tired of having an exhaust so I put my stock one back on. Now I got the full catback Greddy SP collecting dust in my garage.
