Default VTEC smoke

My buddy has a stock GSR with few bolt ons..we noticed some smoke coming out the exhuast when it hits vtec...not sure if its normal or not , knowing hondas burn oil in vtec but this is alot...anybody any info on this? or help?

color of smoke?

blue = oil
white + sweet smell = water
white = lean
black = rich

is he running rich ? Mine used to do the same thing untill i got it tunned . If its running rich i would say thats normal.

water...... check headgasket.... also try doing an oil change, if old oil comes out kinda milky brown color.... it has water in it.... check radiator and resevor to make sure proper coolant levels.... sometimes oil smoke can burn and smell sweet..... check in the day time riding behind the car and see if the smoke has kinda a blue tint to it.... it wont be real blue.... but it wont just be regular white/grey looking

What does the blue tint indicate? My 95 prelude does the same thing. I'll try the oil change first.
