FITV 2000 SI
Just wondering if my 2000 civic si has FITV. I can't find the damn thing anywhere, and it has to be my idle problem b/c everything else has been triple checked and replaced. Any Help???
2000 Si's don't have FITV's.
Look for vacuum leaks first.
make sure the idle screw on the TB is screwed all the way in. This can be a vacuum leak.
make sure you bleed the coolant. Take the radiator cap off when the car is cold, start the car up and let it run for 30 minutes. Coolant will overflow so be ready with something to suck it up. If it's not a vacuum problem this could very well be the culprit. I had the same problem on my Si motor.
