Does anyone know the specs of the IB Spec Wiseco pistons? I'm looking at the 88mm 12.5:1 and wanting to know the recomended Piston to Cylinder Wall clearance that they give for an All Motor application. Also I'm wanting to know what the manufacturing tolerance is? Such as +.0002 or -.0000 (Meaning the maximum difference they could be). What have your guy's Wiseco specs been?

 

I talked to Wiseco regarding same question they told me .003"

 

as i sadi in the other thread my wiseco Endyn rollerwaves were .0029-.0030

 

my 89mm 9:1 wiseco's were .003"

 

.003 wall clearance..i suspect you could even go .0025 as long as you dont run too lean from the get go. i measured my pistons,they were all prettty much the same,well within .0000" to .0002".Wiseco makes some very accurate pistons in my opinion.

 

just contact IB sales....they guy jeff is really good he should be able to answer all your questions.

 

Cool. Thanks guys! JE's tolerance is +.0002 -.0000 meaning they will never be smaller than the said diameter and only .0002 bigger.
