i got a spoon cluster for my 95 gsr, and when i put it in, the fuel needle, and the temp needle don't work. also, when you turn on the blinkers, the needles for the speedo and the tach flutter up and down with the blinker. does anyone know what's up?? if anyone can help, that'd be greatly appreciated. thanks.

 

 

Try swapping the guages to your original cluster

 

i'd rather not, just trying to figure out what the deal is. i guess i could if i had to, but i'd rather just use the entire assembly. does anyone have the wiring diagrams and the pinouts for a 95 and a 98 gsr clusters?? if so, post em up. thanks.

 

Seriously, swapping the guages out is the easiest route to take. Problem you might be having is that the green circuity in the back of the cluster is different from your original cluster.

 

ur gonna need to do a lot of rewiring to get everything to work....the wiring for my spoon itr cluster is way different than a usdm cluster....In fact your symptoms happen to me when i plug in a USDM cluster....My suggestion would be if you dont know much about wiring then get someone that does to wire it up for you cuz the spoon cluster is deff. not just a plug in and go kinda thing....Sorry i cant help you out with any kinda diagrams or pin outs, but I hope helped a little....

I think all you have to do is trade the green backings on the back. If its on your fuel that doenst work then you need to trade a couple wires. Its really simple to do.

 

which wires should be changed?? i'll try to change the green backing, but if the fuel still needs to work, which wires would it be? thanks.

What did you do to fix it? Did you change the green backing?

 

just changed the green backing and put the bulbs in like they were on the gsr cluster. everything works great.
