what is the "safest" i can lower my del sol without the wheels hitting the fenders? i have 15's on there, but the person before me lowered it too much and they hit the fenders when i turn to the maxium. and i'll take any recommendations on which ones... new to the modifed car world

Uhm... why dont you just increase the height until you dont get any rubs on the "TIGHT" turns... That would be my best suggestion to you. I've seen low as the car get--meaning the header is barely off the ground.

Just lower it as far as you want and then take it for a spin and check for the rubs... if it occurs raise it up again, and then repeat step 1 again. keep doing it until you think its good. Its just a matter of trial and error.

Sorry not a definitive answer...

I think you should be more concerned with what is the optimal ride height that will yield the best performance without scraping. I'm at 1.8" no problems but that's prolly not low enough for you.
