Has anyone tried Tein's Basic Damper on their RSX Type S? If so how long have you had it for? How does it run daily and track? Cost? Installation? Overall satisfaction?
Well the basic damper is just that. You can not adjust the dampening force, but you can adjust the ride height.
The spring rate on these are not as high as the SS or Flex but it is alot better them most current coilover+shock combo out there.
As for installation all you have to do is remove your current stock suspension and replace it with the basic. It is a very straight forward install and is a lot easier then trying to install a spring or coilover set up where as you will need a spring compressor.
As for overall satisfaction I have heard good things about them from a few people. I currently run the Tein Flex. But if you want more detailed information on the Basic you may want to check out http://www.clubrsx.com for further details.
Good Luck.
