Hey all but especially H-PIMP,

Have you ever seen either of these 2 cars at Hunt's Point?

one is a Lexus RX300 with some kind of turbo kit on it, the driver claims it runs 11's. the other is a Mercedes SL roadster shell with an insanely turbo'd Porsche 911 flat-6 under the hood. Driver (same kid as the RX) claims whp in the high 800's. The driver is a short Asian dude, he goes to my school in DC. We started talking about cars when he saw me getting into my ITR. I asked him if he's ever seen a red Del Sol with cf hood and turbo at Hunt's Point, he said he had seen the car a few times. Apparently he has some kind of hookup with TRD? although that doesnt explain his Benz/Porsche hybrid. Just wanted to know if you had ever seen either of those 2 cars.

 

I personally haven't seen those cars down there. Especially not racing. I saw a RX 300 last weekend but they are everywhere. Hunts point is turning into more of a car show now. H-Pimp is def. the man to talk to. If that car was down there he would know.

 

I'm down there just about every weekend. And those cars do not ring a bell to me. I'm not saying that he's bs'ing. But personally I haven't seen either one of those cars.

 

Anytime someone starts talking big about cars, I take it with a grain of salt. He very well could be BSing but he didnt say anything really stupid like what kind of headers one should use when running a turbo. Supposedly the RX will be down here in DC pretty soon, hopefully I'll get to see if it's for real.

 

Its funny when you meet people when they talk about cars. I dont understand why people feel the need to lie. Not saying this guy is full of **** but you immediately have to think so. I dont find the need to lie who cares what some stranger thinks of you. And if you do become better friends with these people, then they knew you were full of **** and will always lable you as mother goose. Just me venting on liars. Also me I'm just a yes man to avoid stupid confrontations and even stupider comments.
