keep getting driver side flat
as the topic says i keep getting a a flat on my driver side tire on my 91 crx..there brand new tires from a local mavis...i had the new tires put on, balanced, & aligned not even 2 weeks ago...but i recently did a motor swap changing the front axles, & front spindles....im obviously guessing this was going to throw the alignment off a little...but for some reason if my car sits in one spot for a period of time the car will lose air and ill have to refill it...my car sat from friday night to sunday without moving once and the tire is completely flat...checked for a nail or something of that sort...and found nothing....any reasons why this would happen?!...could it be because i need another alignment?....i get home from work at 8 car sits until 730 the next morning..each morning i have to go to the gas station to put air in that one tire...
PS...im dropping the car this weekend on a full coilover suspension should i wait to get the alignment until after i drop the car?

Well you don't mention it-but did the tire shop replace the valave stem? They can forget this or not properly reinsert the core in it. Have that checked. Also you do not say whether there was any damage to the bead area of the rim. If the valve stem is good-check that the bead is seated. The shop is supposed to use some soapy stuff when they put the tire on the rim.
You probably picked up a nail or something and it worked itself out. Throw a little bit off fix a flat in there and call it a day.
Or what I would do is go back to where you bought the tires tell them you have a sloww leak and get a new tire.

im pretty sure the valve stem is brand new...but ill make sure to check everything you listed above....once i put some fix a flat in it today and get some air in it..im most likely going to drive over to the shop and have them look at it.....
You need to tell them if you put fix-a-flat in it, it leaves a gooey mess inside and uses propane of something like that that inflates the tire. Its real dangerous for the tire shop guys. Use a regular pump if you can, save the fix a flat for a rodside emergency.
get a big enough bucket/pan or something for your tire, fill her up with water and drop the tire in. You'll have to hold the tire under water most likely. This is what they do at tire shops to find where the leaks are..

Stay away from fixaflat, makes it a pain to repair a tire, more trouble than its worth. If you have perfromance tires you are not supposed to use it anyway. Have the shop put bead sealer on it and have them make sure the bead isnt torn.
maybe he ran over a thorn or something, did you spray soapy water on it and look for bubble.
dont use fix a flat and then air up the tire. the fix a flat is suppose to bring it up to the correct pressure. ive heard of tires exploding when they used fix a flat and then went and aired up there tire

there not performance just some tires from the place....ok well i gotta do something to just get the car over to the tire place so i can talk to them
Take the one tire off and drive it to the shop. That is if you don't feel safe driving on it. It'll be worth it, if it's their fault.
Let me clarify this. Do not drive the car with only 3 tires on it. LOL drive a buddies car and load the one tire in the back of his car.
