Default Posing

Just recently I got Rota Circuit-8's in Gun Metal, set of 5 for $500 16's. They look just like the Mugen MF8s, Thats why I love them with out the massive price tag. I also have a generic steering wheel, and I also just recently put on the center Mugen horn cap. I also got Recaro Sportline style seats in a nice red, my cousins calling me a poser, but does havign generic parts make me a poser? Im using his account right now for this forum, Ill check back later.

All in all just wanted to say if anyone called me a poser for using generic parts.

I jsut wanted a nice looking car, with visual traits i loved and people would recognize, without breaking the bank, or having to source out extremely rare add ons. Only expensive thing i really have on my crx are my Takata 4 Point Harness's.

Thx for reading n all.

Btw, Im planning on doing a ZC swap, I dont intend to race or track my car. But I was wondering for daily driving and for performance over the stock sohc engine; is the zc a good bargain for a swap under $1000? Also can I add a different head to the ZC DOHC? thatll bolt right up that I can just bold to the zc block after its been swapped, and itll run better without actual shop tuning? like a b16 head assembly per say from a 99 civic si? cause my cousin whos account i am using has that assembly.

If its doable to the ZC then Ill buy it from him. Thx guys! SOrry if I sound like a newb, just that I am, to emabrassed to ask my cousin anything...

Either way, poser or not, you've still saved some cash. And so long as that makes you happy, then you're all good. To each his own, right?

Me personally, i'd rather have real, legit wheels, but as for the steering wheel, i don't think i'd mind having a knockoff.

dont listen to your cuz..... whoever tells anyone else how your car SHOULD look is cocky and thinks that the only correct way is their way. do what you want. personally, i have a set of 15" Rota Cicuit 8's, a D15B2 motor, NEX Suspension (springs by maxspeed), and a 5 yr old deck. my car rides like a champ. yet im a low budget guy.

I'd rather have knockoffs than real.

I wouldn't care too much if they got stolen or curbed, and they don't cost as much.

to you for saving yourself money.

I'll second that, why pay all that money so that some shady f**k can take it away and leave it stripped on the side of some road...

I agree I hate theives, another reason why I dont want the actual name brand wheels, cause if they disappeared Id be so down. Sides the copies look good enough anwyays.

id rather have the real things only if they were on a car that wasn't my daily driver and had a huge alarm and stayd in a locked garage all the time with a alarm on the house. too many theives around here. who cares what everyone says its your damn car

its not your fault that you saved all that money and it still looks good, the people that call people posers are posers
