brake problems.....
Just curious if anyone knows what is going on but I just changed my front brakes on my type s and it was all good, no noise, but a few days later after, I started to hear that screetching sound. I looked at my rotors in front, looked good, checked in back and on my right rear I saw the outter edge was grinded down a bit. It really looked bad. Any ideas?... I was thinking it was something stuck in there but how could that happen when there's not even a papers thickness between the pad and the rotor. I'm just asking so I know to look out for something if there is anything. Oh, it looked like I still have plenty of pad on my rear brakes.
allmotor-s, what brakes (brake pads?) did you get... if you give the model number, maybe someone will know what you are talking about....some performance brakes just make noise and thats the price you pay for awesome braking power.
I changed the fronts and left the rears stock. There's almost a funny looking groove on my right rear rotor. When I looked at the pads there was plenty left. I guess I'll just have to get in there and look. I just wanted to see if there was anything specific like a defect. I have an '02 by the way. I think I'll just change them and see what happens.
