Default LS notec rebuild NA motor..

Here my motor. 95 b18b1 notec.
I'm now rebuilding this LS for more power for NA. I want to build a NOTEC N/A motor for the repect on the street, wondering anyone can help me out. Too many of my friend has vtec swap, so hoping I can beat them with notec.

Could anyone blow out some good stuff I can put in this LS motor. I want to keep this LS block and head because not enough money to buy new one.. Beside it in good shape..

High C/R is a must right? ITR piston?
Some good Cam is a must too right???
good manifol, like skunk 2 that I have right now..
Tranny, hmm.. B16? could it bolt right into my b18b perfectly??
Port head for flow is for sure..
I'm going to build a header for good flow..+ good exhaust system..greddy?
Is valve train needed? or use stock LS???

Anymore upgrade anyone can point me into??? This motor is for street use.. looking for 200+ if posible..

Thank you HT..

Default Re: LS notec rebuild NA motor.. (Turbo-Honda)

I'm doing exactly what you are doing...but I've already done all my research.
I'm using 1999 Civic Si pistons(pr3) they make about 11:1 compression.
You could also use civic type R pistons(pct) and make about 12:1 compression
I'm gonna be running stock rods, with ARP rod bolts, revving to 8500.
Crower 62404 cams, with crower titanium valve springs/retainers(A MUST)
I have a ported and polished LS head.
I would suggest for...cost effeciency, JDM DC 4-1 header, with 2.5 inch collector.
I'm running the stock intake manifold/injectors for a stock look under the hood.
You could run skunk2 intake manifold if you want, bigger injectors, fuel rail, etc.
For engine managment, I'm going to run Hondata S200 and get it dyno tuned with it
And I think I covered just about everything...
Are you looking for 200 WHP or 200 at the crank? Because...200 WHP is going to be rough getting to, and keeping it streetable/reliable.
