I am in the process of trying to buy a 95 CD5 rear bumper cover and/or rear airdam. I want to put it on my 96CD5 rear bumper. What kind of modifications do I need to accomplish this?

 

There souldn't be any modification coming from a 95 to 96..but why? Is this the stock 95 rear bumper?

everything should just match right up...

 

i thought the bumpers were different.... cause the w-west lip got was only for 94-95, cause i blive the spacin were different.

 

They wont fit. 94-95 had the one piece tails, 96-97 had 2 piece tails, so the bumper is shaped slightly differently.

i thought 95's had the 4 piece also??

 

I mean as in the taillights were separated into two physical pieces.

 

nope, that design change was in 96.....

 

Yeah, thats what my concern is. I just want that black trim around the bottom of the rear bumper cover. It looks so much better than the 96/97 models. Maybe I can just try to swap these without the whole bumper cover.
