ok, i have a '99 accord sedan, with power nothing. Im having major trouble removing the door panel. im basically on the last step, i cant remove the window crank. I tried pulling it off but that really went no where. I looked in the gap pulling the door panel, and i see that the crank goes right into the outer part of the door. How do i remove this? do i pull the outside of the crank or do i pull the entire thing?

 

you'll need a small wire hook... or you can pick up the tool at autozone that's specifically made for this. there's a wire clip that needs to be pulled out from between the crank handle and the door. once you remove this clip, you'll be able to pull the handle off...

 

ok thanks, can you describe what it looks like? I think i know what your talking about though. The slot on the handle right?

 

yes, it is just a plastic handle with a slot in the middle to pull the clip out. The guy at the AutoZone counter will be able to help you out.
