Default Tom's Motorsport Coilovers

hi, I was looking for info on Tom's Motorsport Coilovers, I searched and found 1 link that kinda helped me but I need more info. ( https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=634585 )

anyways, I bought this car just before winter started an had to store it. and now I can smell spring in the air and I'm really looking forward to getting my car out. the only mod on this car are the coilovers. the link above confirmed that these coils are cheap but still pretty good for the amount paid and good for daily drivers.

I'm planning on doing suspension on this car befor I swap the engine in, so does any one know what kind of set up complements these coilovers ? I drove it for about 1 week, and though it was pretty bumpy and stiff. I also hear a "Klunk" noise if it bumps too much, the seller said it was the spring decompressing or something. does anyone know how to fix this, or is it my stock suspension that's causing that?

thanks in advance.

These coilovers are definatly not bad for the price. I know of a bunch of people that have used them and are still using them with no problems or complaints.

All you really need is a nice set of struts, like Koni Yellows or Tokico Illumina's, and you'll be happy in that department IMO.

I would go koni yellows without a doubt. I have kyb agx adjustables and like them, but I've gone for rides in other civics much like mine with koni adjustables and love the feel. But in any case i would get an adjustable type of shock. I wouldn't be cheap in the area of shocks.
