LSD on a 2001 Type R

from what i know... Type Rs....

Dont come with LSD.

true or false?

and why is it it comes/doesnt come with LSD?

Uh, they do come with a Helical/Gear/Torsen LSD.

During hard cornering, a vehicle with an open differential will only be putting power to one wheel, however a vehicle with an LSD will be putting power to both driving wheels. Knowing this, the reasons for a stock LSD in the ITR should be obvious being that it was designed for track use.

yea, those were the most rare years too. about 300 of them in the US? and they only came in phoenix yellow.

S2000, yep. DC5-R, yep.

IIRC, B16 non CTR Civics/B18C Si-R Integras were available with LSD on a per order basis in Japan. But everything is optional there.
