Hey, I organise the BC CRX Meet, and some people have been bugging me to organise a CRX Mini-meet in Vancouver really soon. You guys interested? Probably early November, I should have my slipstreams by then

 

I live in victoria but I'd come over to the mainland for a meet...

solorex - Where are you getting your slipstreams? I'm looking for a set for my Rex.

I'd like to come out too, but November isn't a good time for me. Post pics when you guys do have get together.

88 CRX SiR: Last week Richmond Slotcar Raceway brought in 10 sets of slipstreams in black, I don't know if any are left. I had a set reserved for me but I ended up ordering them through a friend of mine in Seattle. Richmond Slotcar wants $235 Cdn per wheel plus tax. I am getting mine for $219Cdn per wheel (including tax and duty). It's just a bit of a pain because I have to drive down to get them, the way the border line-ups are these days....Richmond Slotcar has Circuit 8's in bronze also in stock ($235per wheel). I don't have the number off hand, but you want to talk to Hector.

I think we should set-up a Sunday, in early November for this meet. (We'll have to see how the weather is). I'll keep you guys posted...

 

solorex - If you can find me their number, that would be cool. The Circuit 8's in bronze or gunmetal would look nic on a black car. The black on flat black slipstreams would be so nasty...hmmmm...thanks!
