I am working on a Formula SAE car with Middle Tennessee State University. We are using a 600RR engine for our project. With the rule requiring us to remove the stock throttle bodies (well just the butterflies) and use a 20mm restrictor. We are afraid that the OEM ecu will not be able to handle this new information, so we are going with a standalone. I have looked into some ECU's and most required a crank angle sensor, but a few can use either a crank or a cam angle sensor.

I was wondering what kind of CAS the CBR600RR uses so when I call up these companies I can tell them what kind of imput the sensor sends out.

Also does anyone know of any stand-alones that are already known to work with this motor with the stock CAS? Thanks.
