Default how to bypass a immobiler on newer cars like 2000 tegs (itr)

im trying to put in my b18c5 in my ek hatch but people are telling me the ecu wont work cause of the immoblizer and the transponder in the key, can someone clear this up??im hearing too many different stories, one said i would need a jdm ecu, one said i would need to rip off the immoblizer off the steering wheels and hook that up too, what is the deal?? who knows the real answer????

I'm in the same boat as you. When I bought the engine I got the whole type r ignition switch along with the ecu. I haven't got to the point of wiring it up yet. I am waiting on some manuals. I'll let you know as soon as I figure it out. Or vice versa.

it's not going to work go obd1 or get a gsr remaped

just get a 97-98 itr ecu
