Need help: Installing JDM door visor
i just recently purchased a used set of JDM door visors from ebay..it came with small screws and clips..has anyone installed one on their doors?..need help..will i need two sided 3m tape?, any pictures will help..thanks
I just installed it using the 4 clips which will go under the window weather strip which
u have to pull down like pictured on page 3 of instruction. I only screwed down clip
on the 90 degreee corner window frame on since there is a predrill hole on our R.
I eliminated the other corner 90 degree window frame clip because you have to slit into
the molding and used just a small thin piece of 3M double sided tape instead. Also I did not cut any weather strip for the clips since i pretested before install of visor and window do rolled up and sealed properly.

Good Luck!

No 3M tape @ all.
THE FIRST Side is the hardest(2nd will be like 5 mins)
It is very tricky...main thing is line the visors up how they are supposed to look on the door...and make a dot w/ the Marker where the clips will be coming out to attach to the visor.
Peel the top part of the rubber seal around the window (that you will have to shave down for the clips to pop out) down a little and the clips sit in the Channel between the Seal and the metal(of the door) and the little tiny Silver Clip is what "Clips" the Black clip to the door.
You will have to make 1 hole @ towards the bottom of the door(toward the mirror) abd countersink it so the screw will go through the metal to thread to the bottom Visor Clip.
The Highest party of the door the Hole will already be there for you.and then you measure 3mm down or what ever the Instructions say and thats wheree that litte paper hook thing comes into play.
Thats kinda a cut and dry version...but you have to really understand the pic's and the weirdest part is how that Silver clip actually pops the Blk Clip to the doort to hold it secure..then teh seal kinda overlaps that.
Sorry,...but thats kinda the bst I can do right now
