Default Whats "Pressed-on"?!

Some people have rotors "pressed on" some dont... can someone explain to be what is actually pressed on? Is it a machine that sqeezes a parts together and somehow stick? I know how to fix cars but can never understand how they do it.

basically the clearance bewteen the two parts are very tight, so it takes a hydro press to squeeze them together, and the stay together from the tight fit.

but the 5th gen rotors aren't really pressed on, its just that they are a hub over rotor design, and the hub is bolted on from the back, so its a pain in the *** to get the rotor out.

Most other yr accords are rotor over hub so you just pop off the rotor and ur set.
