Default Those with EK foglamps...

Hello.

I have a dilema about my OEM foglamps, they're 99-00 if that helps.

I took my bumper off and I had to unhook the foglamp harness. When I put my bumper back on I forgot to hook the harness back up to the foglamps. I told my friend after we had finished our project, and had the bumper on to see if all the lights, ect... worked... all but the foglights. Of course we forgot the harness!
The harness was then plugged in and when I went over to press the button it was already on the "ON" position my friend didn't click it "OFF". O well I said I reclicked it and the fogs still didn't come on.

Ok is there a foglamp fuse, if so please tell me where it is I have been lookin everywhere for it, my HONDA manual doesn't say.

I also switched out the 'OPTION' fuse (whatever that is) under the hood, still no luck.

I think the bulbs got fried.
But since they're kind of a pain to change help me rule everything else out.

Thanks!

if you can get to the harness then check to see if it's getting power when the switch is on (multimeter or even just a bulb with some wires hooked up to it)

The fuse should be in the fuse box. Is the light on the switch coming on? And the bulbs are easy to replace. The lamps come out without having to pull the bumper.

Which fuse is it, and you're talkin about the one under the hood right?
Anyways the light does NOT come on but it never did even when the fogs were working before, I just know if its on if the button is in or if the button is out.

And yea I've replaced the bulbs before and yea everytime I hate it....

yes, there is a fuse on the harness i believe.

that is odd that the little led light on the button does not turn on.

i would make sure that everything is plugged in correctly. foglight harness, switch harness.

During lunch, I will check if/where there is a fuse on the inline harness (my fogs are still in the box)

EDIT - i have the installation instructions here at work IM me if you want a copy (email/fax) there is an inline fuse underneath the dash (should be near the relay which is bolted tp the ground another connection you should check)

SEE INSTRUCTIONS HERE
http://www.handa-accessories.c...s.pdf
PAGE 8 - shows were you can find the inline fuse

also shows how to change the bulb without removing the bumper

Im going to take apart the lower dash on the drivers side see if I can find a blown fuse directly behind the button.

Grrr, replaced bulbs no luck!
I think by process of elimination it may be the relay under the hood.
