Default H22 head help PLEASE!

whats up I am new I need help and quick. I have the H23 motor and I was going to do the whole JDM motor swap, but last night I was hanging out wit a bunch of people and this kid pulls up to the wawa we were chilling at. He parked next to me and then started talking to me....Well before I new it he was talking me in to the H22 head on the H23 block. He told me it would fit no problem wit a little modification. He told me that he knew somebody who just had the head wit NO cams, intake manifold, exhaust manifold, vtec silenoid, distributor, and 1 clamp for the cams and he only wants $150 for it. He told me all I need its:

intake manifold
vtec silenoid (any vtec motor)
vtec cams
gaskets

he told me everything else will fit and I he told me a place to go to that would put a chip in the car and program it for me and run the wires for the vtec. He also said the distributor, exhaust manifold, and the 1 clamp for the cams will fit from the H23 head.
This guy sounded like he knew what the hell he was talking about he said he knew his hondas. My questions are is the a good deal? Is this all tru? Will it last if I take care of it? Is there any thing else I need?

He also told me wit just that I could drop from a 15.3 to a 14.3 if I can drive. I had one of my friends wit me who is a mechanic, but I figured who would kno hondas more then people from honda-tech. PLEASE HELP THE DEAL GOES DOWN TOMORROW!

Read that... You will learn a lot and it should answer all of your questions... Yeah you do need a few more parts besides the head but they aren't very expensive, but the head will just bolt right on... Message me if you have some questions you cant answer...

If you are doing it yourself, I wouldn't even attempt it.

Basically, what the H23VTEC is, is it's a WHOLE H22 swap.....and you just swap out your H23 crank and rods over to the H22. It's not just a simple task of swapping heads.

Also, it does not rev as high as the H22. I don't care what anyone says, the crank is not as well balanced as the H22 crank. When Honda was designing that crank, they never intended for it to rev much higher than the 6500 redline.

Since most people here get all excited about revving their cars high (why, I have no idea), many people end up spinning a bearing. Whether it's caused by lack of lubrication or an unbalanced crank, who knows....and who cares. Bottomline is it can't rev that high.

You are better off just getting a whole H22 swap and calling it a day.

I have someone is going to do the work for me but I mean everyone is tell me its just like the LS/Vtec. It will end up being cheap then the whole swap? But I mean you guys kno more then me...so if you dont think its worth it then I wont attempt it. But I want to kno the power gains from it. And what kinda of horror story from it. Thanx
