I ordered a set of 195/50HR-15 Kumho ECSTA 711 tires ($37/each from Tire Rack!) to put on some GSR blades, but decided to get aftermarket wheels. Here's my question: Are these tires fine for my 15x6.5 wheels, which I'm assuming is a little wider than the blades? I hope I don't have to order a new set!

BTW: This is for an EG.

 

I had those on some 15x6.5 sliptreams and they were fine.

That is a good price...but if you can, you might want to trade them back and upgrade to the 712. I was not very impressed with the 711's myself. Wet traction was bad, and I could chirp them in third with basic bolt-ons on a d series.

 

Thanks for the quick reply... I was actually about to post up that after a little more searching, I found out they fit fine. Regarding the 712's, I'm on a really tight budget and don't race at all, so I was drawn to the lower price and slightly quieter (?) ride. The motor is still a stock CX, so when I do a swap somewhere down the line, I'll consider better performing tires.
