ARP rod bolts and head studs, worth it w/ my lsvtec?
worth it or not?
building motor w/
crower stage 2 valvetrain
ctr over sized pistons
ls rods
cometic head gasket to lower compression for drivability
and other jibba jabba that shouldnt make or break the decision
i know alot of people use the arp rod bolts and head studs, but i am just wondering if it really matters? anyone w/ experince? thanks

Hell yeah.
Especially after running higher comp pistons such as ctr's. Arp's will hold the head tight, where as stock ones may stretch.
Rod bolts are a good idea too, a lot of people shotpeen the stock rods and they work fine. But with higher revving vtec head, rod bolts won't snap like oem ones do.

Yes very worth it, esp. if you plan on revving to 8k+.
I'd also recommend getting the rods notched for gsr bearings.

The head is what determines the head bolts that you need. The bolt length is based on the height of the head.

yes, but don't forget to mention, that you don't use b16 bolts with a 1.8 bottom
ppl may get confused, and think b16 head, i'll use b16 bolts

yey that lightningmotorsports.com u may possiblely see them as an advertised company at the top of screen or if u do a search thru archived links on ht type in arp rod bolts they should come back in sponsored marketplace anytime with the help help can b scarce on ht depending on the topic
i think it is lightningmotorsports but if u just type there name in a ht search they r a sponsor to my understanding people renotch for gsr rods and bearing because the are wider so supposedly should take more abuse not certain can some 1 confirm or deny
