Default d16z6 swap into 4g civic sedan-distributor?

we are getting ready to do a d16z6 swap into a 89 sedan and i was wondering if anybody knows what the deal is with the distributor? i know you can either use the 4g one and lose your ability to advance/retard or you can use the 5g one and re-wire the plugs. what is the easiest route to go?

i belive if you want to use the distributor that the z6 comes with you would have to rewire your car, wich would also mean running the p28 ecu and adding more wires..... i just did a little chopping to the stock one and fits fine....

yeah, you're right ed9hybrid. there's no way to use the 92-95 dizzy w/o OBD1 electronics.
